Congressional leaders have introduced legislation to permanently ban new offshore oil drilling in U.S. waters including the Atlantic, Pacific, Gulf of Mexico, and Arctic Ocean. Passing these bills is critical to protecting our marine ecosystems, as well as coastal recreation and tourism opportunities.

Please take action to protect U.S. coastlines from the expansion of offshore oil and gas drilling.

Offshore drilling is a polluting activity that damages our natural environment and puts human communities at risk. New drilling would also exacerbate the effects of climate change as our nation and world struggle to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Please take action to protect the Atlantic, Pacific, Gulf of Mexico and Arctic Ocean from offshore drilling so that our coastlines will be free from new oil rigs!
